Mark is an Essex-born photographer who lives in Leigh-on-Sea, a fishing town of great character half-an-hour's drive east of London.

He is out with his camera most days, strolling through Old Leigh. This atmospheric quarter of wharves, alleys and cobbled streets is the backdrop for much of his work, which he sometimes shares on Instagram and Facebook, as well as via his Blipfoto journal.

Mark's images celebrate everyday life. They tell stories, but rarely the whole story.

He exhibits work during the Leigh Art Trail each June at BelleRose Flower Boutique, where a selection of his pictures is on display throughout the year.

Mark's photographic mission is to show Leigh in a new light. He could not indulge in this time-consuming pursuit without the infinite patience of a very supportive wife and two daughters.
